Welcome dear friends of Life, Sound and Music.

Everything you need to know about me as a musician is basically written above next to the picture. To say more is difficult for me - because music & sound for me in the course of life is a living process in which I myself grow more and more and come closer to an intense life.

My 35 years of travel & research in the world of sounds & music have led me to the realization - that music is something that breathes and cannot be grasped with a few written words.

In my opinion, it can only be experienced and felt - and is therefore difficult to put in a box.

For me, it is a space of the soul - which vibrates and breathes in and out together with mother earth and the entire cosmos.

Expressing music directions is for me also a limitation of what music is really able to do.

So I leave it to others to find a few words that can explain what happens when you

share sound & music with me.

Herzlich willkommen liebe Freunde des Klanges und der Musik. 

Alles was man über mich als Musiker wissen muss, steht im Grunde oben neben dem Bild geschrieben. Mehr zu sagen ist für mich schwer - da Musik & Klang für mich im Laufe des Lebens ein lebendiger Prozess ist in dem ich selber immer mehr wachse und einem intensiven Leben näher komme. 

Meine 35 Jährige Reise & Forschung in der Welt der Klänge & Musik haben mich zu der Erkenntnis geführt - das Musik & Klang etwas ist, das atmet und nicht mit ein paar geschriebenen Worten greifbar wird. Sie kann meiner Meinung nach nur erfahren und gefühlt werden - und ist damit auch schwer in eine Schublade zu packen. Für mich, ist es ein Raum der Seele - der mit Mutter Erde und dem gesammten Kosmos zusammen schwingt und ein  und aus-atmet.

Musik Richtungen zum Ausdruck bringen ist für mich auch eine Begrenzung dessen - was Musik wirklich in der Lage ist, zu tun.

Also überlasse ich es anderen ein paar  Worte zu finden die annähernd das greifbar machen können, was geschieht wenn man Klang & Musik mit mir teilt.

A musician who captures his listeners with his music with love and passion and takes them on a journey.

His music leads to a pause and touches something inside of us, which brings a wonderful smile to our faces.

His music opens hearts and touches the soul.

Ein Musiker, der mit Liebe und Hingabe seine Zuhörer mit seiner Musik einfängt und auf eine Reise mitnimmt.

Seine Musik führt zu einem Innehalten und berührt etwas in unserem Inneren, was uns ein wundervolles Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert.

Seine Musik öffnet Herzen und berührt die Seele.

Martin de Winter (a stage name that life has given him), reminds me of one of the traveling troubadours of the happier part of the Middle Ages.

With simple means a minstrel appears and makes skillful, affectionate music.

After the third song at the latest it happens: the musician has understood his audience and the listeners fall under the spell of the sounds and the expressive voice. Then de Winter can even dare soft tones, the listeners are already enchanted.

His immense repertoire is certainly a good precursor to the souls of those present, but the magical glow is provided by voice, personality and that indefinable something that makes this (like every) concert so unique. So maybe not a troubadour after all, but a mysterious magician?

Martin de Winter (ein Künstlername den das Leben ihm spendiert hat), erinnert mich an einen der fahrende Troubadoure des fröhlicheren Teil des Mittelalters.

Mit einfachen Mitteln tritt ein Spielmann auf und macht gekonnt, liebevolle Musik.

Nach dem dritten Lied spätestens passiert es: Der Musikant hat sein Publikum begriffen und die Zuhörer geraten in den Bann der Klänge und der ausdrucksstarken Stimme. Dann kann de Winter sogar leise Töne wagen, die Hörer sind bereits verzaubert.

Sein ungeheures Repertoire ist bestimmt ein guter Wegbereiter zu den Seelen der Anwesenden, aber den magischen Glanz liefern Stimme, Persönlichkeit und das unbestimmbare Etwas, dass dieses (wie jedes) Konzert so einzigartig macht. Also vielleicht doch kein  Troubadour, sondern ein geheimnisvoller Zauberer?

Musician, filmmaker and photographer Martin D. Winter reaffirms this statement with each new encounter between us.

Every human being is a tone and the two tones that we are have long since become a melody.

More and more people are attracted by the magic that arises when Martin with his flute or his guitar not only invites you to listen, but also seduces you to sing along.

Every note gets space in the sound field, every person gets space in the heart of the artist.

His talent brings together what belongs together.

And joy and well-being are the words that come to mind when I once again accept the offer of his music.

Der Musiker, Filmemacher und Fotograf Martin D.Winter bekräftigt mit jeder neuen Begegnung zwischen uns diese Aussage neu. 

Jeder Mensch ist ein Ton und aus den zwei Tönen, die wir sind, ist längst eine Melodie geworden.

Immer mehr Menschen werden angezogen von der Magie, die entsteht, wenn Martin mit seiner Flöte oder seiner Gitarre nicht nur zum Hören einlädt, sondern auch zum Mitsingen verführt. 

Jeder Ton bekommt Raum im Klangfeld, jeder Mensch bekommt Raum im Herzen des Künstlers.

Sein Talent führt zusammen was zusammen gehört. 

Und Freude und Wohlsein sind die Worte, die  mir einfallen, wenn ich wieder einmal das Angebot seiner Musik annehme.
